Chelsea are demanding Alex Sandro in a swap deal with Juventus for Emerson Palmieri.

Juve had offered to include Mattia De Sciglio in a swap deal.

But the Blues rejected the offer, and Corriere dello Sport says they want Brazil international Sandro instead.

The Serie A club are trying to lower Chelsea's demand of a £37m transfer fee for Emerson, and they remain hopeful a swap deal will suffice.

Frank Lampard wants to sign a new left-back and Sandro would certainly met his requirements.

The 29-year-old has long been a target for Premier League clubs, having starred for Juve since 2015.
