Raheem Sterling REJECTED Tottenham before opting for Feyenoord move

Former Chelsea and Man City winger Raheem Sterling reportedly turned down an offer from Tottenham before deciding to join Feyenoord.

The 31-year-old reached a mutual agreement to have his Chelsea contract ripped up in January and has been on the hunt for a new club since.

Sterling now looks set to join Dutch giants Feyenoord until the end of the season, but had an offer from Tottenham, according to the Daily Mail.

It’s understood that Spurs opened talks with Sterling following Wilson Odobert’s ACL injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the season.

The report states that Sterling was unwilling to join an ‘unstable’ club., with Tottenham fighting in a relegation battle and sacking Thomas Frank.
