Real Madrid have decided to make a renewed push to secure Trent Alexander-Arnold's services during the current transfer window, according to Marca.

Madrid initially made contact with Liverpool prior to January but saw their proposal dismissed. However, their recent struggles, including a heavy 5-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Supercopa, have heightened their urgency to strengthen their squad. However, it may fall on Alexander-Arnold himself to persuade Liverpool, who are Premier League leaders, to sanction an early departure.

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has clarified why recent signing Woyo Coulibaly was not included in the squad for their match against Fulham.
