As the Premier League season nears its conclusion, clubs in the top flight are making preparations for to bolster their squads and Manchester United could be in for a summer of spending if their takeover goes through. The Red Devils are subject of a £5bn tug-of-war between Sheikh Jassim and Jim Ratcliffe, with funds likely to be handed to Erik ten Hag to bring in a striker and improve in other areas too.
The likes of Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane have been linked with a move to Old Trafford, although the pair could cost in excess of £100million, and the Dutchman could be forced to target a cheaper alternative in Marcus Thuram while the takeover remains in the balance.
Arsenal have no such issues to worry about, but Mikel Arteta will be desperate to shake off their title disappointment with more signings this summer.
Liverpool have already announced four players will leave, including Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita, meaning that Jurgen Klopp will need to find some replacements, while Mauricio Pochettino is set to take over at Chelsea and spark an exodus of summer departures.
